Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” Thessalonians 5:11
On Sunday, March 15th several strategies were implemented for services at Beaver Creek due to COVID-19 concerns. At the March 15 session meeting, the session voted to continue with the same strategies for March 22 unless new information or guidance became available, in which case the pastor would contact session members to vote on a change of plan.
New information or guidance has now become available particularly as to avoiding social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people for the next 15 days. (cdc.gov and 15 days to slow the spread – coronavirus.gov)
In light of this new information, the session has voted to not hold Sunday School or attended worship services on March 22, 29, and April 5, and 12. The session also voted to broadcast one live service at 10:00 a.m. (The service may be viewed by going to the church website bccpc.info and following the instructions on the top of the page.)
In line with these actions, there are to be no church gatherings of more than 10 persons until further notice. The session will evaluate our next step of action and inform the congregation prior to services on Sunday, April 5.
Let us continue to encourage one another and build each other up.
